Obituary for Albert "Junior" Curtis

Albert Curtis Jr., “Junior” to those who knew him, 52 of Bourbon County, passed away in the evening of April 9, 2018. Junior was born to Catherine Wimor Curtis (Paris) on September 20, 1965 in Campton, KY. Survived by his loving wife, Sandy Curtis (Clintonville); Junior leaves behind an abundance of family and friends. Devoted step-father to Sara Wood and Nicole Wood (both of Paris) as well as honorary son Cody Stone (Lexington) and fur-baby Abby the cat. He was an amazing grandfather to 11-year-old Madolynn Morgan and to 3-year-old Elijah Estep. Junior was blessed with a sister, Frances Curtis Holder (Paris), niece Samantha (Donnie) Cross, great-niece Katelyn Cross and great-nephew Dillon Cross (all of Paris). Junior will reunite at the pearly gates with Albert Curtis Sr., his father who preceded him in death. Junior truly loved being a farmer, which he did for most of his life. He spent years foaling thoroughbreds, including having birthed a Triple Crown Winner. A kind, selfless man, Junior Curtis will be deeply missed.
